A DCP Halloween :)

So i carved pumpkins this evening.... and i just couldnt resist, i had to do this :) Im getting so pumped for the program, i keep thinking i cant get anymore excited but every day i seem to get more and more excited about it! Im seriously considering extending my program to 8 months... i just keep telling myself this is a once in a lifetime thing... why not take full advantage of it? im in the 80's for days left now.... the days are flying by, its gunna be here before i know it <3

Also on a fun note, my roomate Jen pointed out something to me today, we began talking to each other on September 21st..... little did we know our check in day for the program would be Jan 21st, exactly 4 months later :) ahhhh fate. <3

My Flight Is Booked!!!!!

Theres no turning back now!!! I fly out saturday Jan 19 at 3:30 in the afternoon!! I figure it wont hurt to get there 2 days early so i can settle into a hotel with my roomates :) Im sooo ready for it to be here!!! Already got 4 roomates set! only lookin for 2, maybe 4 more :) I cant. freakin. wait. I think im still in shock every day, i cant imagine how much im going to be freaking out as it gets closer, if im already this excited <3

Signed up for my Disney class today!!

Class registration is open, and i just signed up for the Disney Heritage class on thursdays from 4-6!! And 3 of my roommates signed up for the same class, so hopefully we end up with the same prof :) So excited for this class!! cant wait!!



I also made a chain with how many days i have left and put it around my bed!! it leads to the cute little sign at the end right above my bed <3 took me about 2 hours but it was so worth it :) its crazy to actually be able to see the days I have left…. I hope they go quickly <3

My arrival day is set!!!

JANUARY 21! THAT is the day i begin my DCP journey <3 I am arriving the day before, sunday, in order to ensure i can get into line in the morning, cause supposidly people start lining up at like 6am. lol. I plan on staying at the hotel across the street with my roomate, who thankfully i already have picked out! 103 days ahead of time… lol

ahhhh. only 102 days to go.... <3

I GOT ACCEPTED!!!!! :)

WOOOOO! not only is today my birthday, i was ACCEPTED FOR ATTRACTIONS this morning!! I CANT BELIEVE IT! omg, im going to be living in florida and WORKING AT WDW!!! this is just unbelievable, ive been freakin out alll day. best birthday ever. matter of fact, best DAY EVER. seriously <3 im so happy, i cant even contain myself!!!

BEST PART IS i only had to wait 3 DAYS. like, 56 hours. While some people have been waiting 3 weeks! funny story is that i knew 5 other people that interviewed the SAME DAY as me, and they ALL heard back within 2 days, and i was sooo discouraged, i thought i was going to be denied! but turns out i got placed with one of the higher jobs so it took longer!! I knew in my heart that my time would come <3

 BUT THANKYOU Jesus, cause he knows i couldnt wait that long :)

Ive already accepted, all thats left is paying my housing deposit, and BOOKING MY FLIGHT!!!!!!! DISNEY HERE I COME <3

I WILL CALL THIS PLACE HOME FOR 4 MONTHS <3

Phone Interview Complete!!!!

MY PHONE INTERVIEW IS DONE! :D Now all i do is wait for my acceptance or denial! My interview was with Gina, and she called 10 minutes early but i was so ready for her :) i had pandora on, listening to music and "go the distance" from Hercules was playing when she called! (coincidence? i think not!!) She was super friendly! asked me basic questions, like WHY disney, my work expierence and then it got more difficult from there. she asked me some details such as describe a time when you made a customers day, whats the longest speech you have had to memorize, how would you handle a emergency....etc. I made sure to tell her i really want to be a character attendant and talked about all my experience speaking in front of groups and performing. She kinda directed the conversation towards my retail and food experience so i have a feeling i may be placed in one of those positions, but im happy with anything! just to be accepted is HUGE! But i do think i nailed it! None of her questions stumped me, and i managed to rattle off answers without any hesitation! And i smiled and was outgoing through allll of it! She seemed happy with all my answers, so im hoping i got a good shot :) i cant WAIT to hear back! From what im seeing on the DCP page, most people are hearing back within 2 DAYS lately! so im hoping that will be me too!! otherwise its 2 weeks :( But we will see!!! Until then, i wait in excitement!!!! im already planning my flight and hotel... this is not good. lol <3
