i have absolutely no clue on this one... again, never really been to the parks... so all i can think of is the parade they do every day... i remember seeing that when i was a kid there and thinking it was awesome :)

DAY #29: YOUR FAVORITE THEME ATTRACTION

Again, ive only been to a Disney park once.... so im going to go by the attraction im most excited to experience when i get down there, and thats the Haunted Mansion. I can sort of remember it from when i was there when i was a kid, and i think i liked it alot lol its one of the few things i can remember, so it must have been fairly good :)

DAY #28: YOUR FAVORITE THEME PARK

well ive only been to Disney World ONCE when i was supperrrr young. SO right now, im basically using my "from what ive heard" opinion, so i would have to say the Magic Kingdom... i think most of it has to do with that big awesome castle they have... :)

but i can almost guarantee this will change after working there for 4 months... but we shall see!! <3

Cars. Not because its not a good movie, but because i cant stand anything that has to do with car racing...or cars in general...

To be honest, i have never watched any of the Disney classics... so im going to go with Fantasia, because to me, thats a definite classic :)

Got my employee paperwork email from Disney today!!! Its still so sureal... im so close.. i cant not believe it. It still hasnt hit me that this is real... I believe this is the last email i will receive from Disney before i check in in 43 days.... <3 I cant WAIT to get down there!!!!!!

The music is one of my favorite things about Disney, so this one is REALLY difficult for me... but if i look back through my whole life and the song i catch myself singing the most and loving the most is Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid.

DAY #9: YOUR FAVORITE ORIGINAL CHARACTER

Minnie Mouse. Thats one of the FEW things i remember from my one and ONLY visit to Disney World when i was like 7 years old... i remember meeting Minnie and being so happy :)

DAY #8: FAVORITE VILLIAN

Scar… because he was just plain evil!

DAY #7: YOUR FAVORITE SIDEKICK

Pascal. Cause hes so fricken cute.

DAY #6: YOUR FAVORITE ANIMAL

this one is really hard for me.. so i will do a couple.

If we include Dreamworks, SPIRIT is my all time favorite… otherwise:

Pegasus from Hercules; Dori from Finding Nemo; and Maximus from Tangled

Honorable mention to those pegasus from FANTASIA… i used to watch that part OVER AND OVER through my whole childhood, so the fantasia pegasus gets my vote for favorite CHILDHOOD fave, even though they played such a small part :)

DAY #5: YOUR FAVORITE HERO

Flynn Rider. Although he may only be a hero in the eyes of Rapunzel, that scene wear he cuts her hair to save her life and not his own, was one of the most moving Disney scenes i have ever watched. And the fact that he rescued her....AND in the end, he brings the "lost princess" back to the town <3 he is definitely a hero. 

DAY #4: YOUR FAVORITE PRINCE

Aladdin is my favorite Disney prince :) Just because i love his wild and free attitude 

DAY 3: YOUR FAVORITE DISNEY HEROINE

My favorite Disney heroine is definitely Pocahontas. She may not seem like a hero, but she was bold and stood out from her tribe for the man she loved, even though he was considered the enemy. she brought together two worlds, and risked her life in doing so, and for that she is a heroine in my eyes :)

Day 2: YOUR FAVORITE PRINCESS

I hate to be repetitive, but again, ARIEL. not only is she my fave character, she is also my fave princess :) shes the daughter of king Triton! whats cooler than that?!

60 DAYS TILL CHECK IN

SO because im only 60 DAYS away from check in, im going to start a 30 day DCP challenge! because i need something to pass the time... lol :) so here goes nothing! 

DAY 1: YOUR FAVORITE CHARACTER

 

Definitely has to be ARIEL! there are soooo many Disney movies that i LOVE, so many characters that i love, but honestly if i look back at my entire life, ARIEL has always been my favorite. It could be the fact that ive always had a thing for mermaids. or the fact that my mom planned on naming me Ariel, but my dad didnt like the name. OR because it was one of the first Disney movies I can remember watching. Either way, i LOVE Ariel and the Little Mermaid :)

IT FINALLY CAME!

TODAY, EXACTLY one month from the day I interviewed at Disney, i got my acceptance post card!!! I was SOOO excited when i saw that purple envelope in the mail <3 this makes it so much more real.... im actually leaving.... in 79 days! :) im keeping this thing safe and sound <3 and ill bring it down to Disney when I go and put it up in my room, as a reminder during those few off days i may have down there. So i can remember how AMAZINGLY BLESSED I am to have this opportunity, and how I need to live every moment to the fullest <3 I CANT WAIT!

A DCP Halloween :)

So i carved pumpkins this evening.... and i just couldnt resist, i had to do this :) Im getting so pumped for the program, i keep thinking i cant get anymore excited but every day i seem to get more and more excited about it! Im seriously considering extending my program to 8 months... i just keep telling myself this is a once in a lifetime thing... why not take full advantage of it? im in the 80's for days left now.... the days are flying by, its gunna be here before i know it <3

Also on a fun note, my roomate Jen pointed out something to me today, we began talking to each other on September 21st..... little did we know our check in day for the program would be Jan 21st, exactly 4 months later :) ahhhh fate. <3

My Flight Is Booked!!!!!

Theres no turning back now!!! I fly out saturday Jan 19 at 3:30 in the afternoon!! I figure it wont hurt to get there 2 days early so i can settle into a hotel with my roomates :) Im sooo ready for it to be here!!! Already got 4 roomates set! only lookin for 2, maybe 4 more :) I cant. freakin. wait. I think im still in shock every day, i cant imagine how much im going to be freaking out as it gets closer, if im already this excited <3

Signed up for my Disney class today!!

Class registration is open, and i just signed up for the Disney Heritage class on thursdays from 4-6!! And 3 of my roommates signed up for the same class, so hopefully we end up with the same prof :) So excited for this class!! cant wait!!



I also made a chain with how many days i have left and put it around my bed!! it leads to the cute little sign at the end right above my bed <3 took me about 2 hours but it was so worth it :) its crazy to actually be able to see the days I have left…. I hope they go quickly <3

My arrival day is set!!!

JANUARY 21! THAT is the day i begin my DCP journey <3 I am arriving the day before, sunday, in order to ensure i can get into line in the morning, cause supposidly people start lining up at like 6am. lol. I plan on staying at the hotel across the street with my roomate, who thankfully i already have picked out! 103 days ahead of time… lol

ahhhh. only 102 days to go.... <3

I GOT ACCEPTED!!!!! :)

WOOOOO! not only is today my birthday, i was ACCEPTED FOR ATTRACTIONS this morning!! I CANT BELIEVE IT! omg, im going to be living in florida and WORKING AT WDW!!! this is just unbelievable, ive been freakin out alll day. best birthday ever. matter of fact, best DAY EVER. seriously <3 im so happy, i cant even contain myself!!!

BEST PART IS i only had to wait 3 DAYS. like, 56 hours. While some people have been waiting 3 weeks! funny story is that i knew 5 other people that interviewed the SAME DAY as me, and they ALL heard back within 2 days, and i was sooo discouraged, i thought i was going to be denied! but turns out i got placed with one of the higher jobs so it took longer!! I knew in my heart that my time would come <3

 BUT THANKYOU Jesus, cause he knows i couldnt wait that long :)

Ive already accepted, all thats left is paying my housing deposit, and BOOKING MY FLIGHT!!!!!!! DISNEY HERE I COME <3

I WILL CALL THIS PLACE HOME FOR 4 MONTHS <3
